Hi dear colleagues,
I am trying to model 3D ultrasonic wave propagation in ABAQUS, but I experience some extra peaks which have no meaning for me. I need to justify them.
Are they transverse waves ?
How can I erase them ?
Model info (SI):
Dimensions: 0.02*0.02*0.005
Properties: Density: 7850, E:193000000000, v:0.29 (elastic, solid homogeneous)
Load: pressure (1E-009, Amp: 5 MHz and 3 cycles (duration: 5.5E-007 s))
BC: none
using INFINITE elements in side walls
Images info:
first image belongs to the load region on top of the model,
second image belongs to bottom surface within the load region,
third image is load amp.
As you can see in first fig., excitation lasts in 1E-006s (twice of the excitation duration), however, load duration is 5.5E-007s and in second peak there are some extra peaks in 2E-006s and 4E-006 which is unknown to me.
