Hello. I am facing an issue regarding the use of the TQ curve of HeatX in Aspen Plus. There are two scenarios (the specification type is: "Hot outlet temperature - cold inlet temperature (dT)"):

1. In case of no pressure drop in the exchanger, the curve is providing the same value of dT as per specification, with pressure profile as either "constant and inlet pressure" or "constant at outlet pressure", since there is no change in the pressure.

2. In case of pressure drop in the exchanger, the specification of pressure profile in TQ curve was chosen as "inlet and outlet pressures", and two curves are generated. Now, for the inlet curve, and for outlet curve, the values of dT are not met at certain points. However, HeatX is converged.

Should I collect the outlet temperature of the hot stream from the outlet curve and the inlet temperature of the cold stream from the inlet curve and subtract these? In that case, the value of dT does not go below 10 C. This is one concept, for which I need guidance from the valuable RG users. Thank you.
