Is anybody has any experience on doing Total DNA-PK immunofluorescence on M059J cells. As far I know M059J has inactivated or truncated DNA-PK protein. But can it be detectable by IF with Total DNA-PK antibody.? I did not find any data on total DNA-PK IF on internet. People showed M059J dose not have phosoho DNA-PK. But what about total DNA-PK?

Hello, most studies use antibodies that target the truncated part of the protein, thus showing no response for M059J even for the total protein. You need to find an antibody aimed at the non-truncated part, before the frameshift mutation at codon 1351. I have no reference in mind though...
