My study is with the Children in Child Care Institutions (CCIs). To study about the prevalence of Child Maltreatment in CCIs, there are two sets of tools like ICAST -CH and ICAST- CI (ISPCAN Child Abuse Screening Tool for Children in Home - CH and Instituions like School/work- CI).

I need clarification on which tool should I opt for this study. Because CCIs are the homes for Children in difficult situations. But at the same time it is termed as Institutions for Child Care. In ICAST - CI there are only Physical, Psychological and Sexual Abuse victimization whereas in ICAST- CH violence Exposure and Neglect also covered. So for my study I want to study the later two variables also. Please let me know whether I can opt ICAST- CH for data collection CCIs.
