It would not make much difference, your main species that would give drastic variations in your readings will be N2, O2, humidity etc.

I hace no experience with fluent or with modeling plasmas. Each problem is different and must be explored alone. Fore example, what are the number densities, relevant cross sections and rate equations with the other species known to be present. Sorry I cannot be of more help.
