Does anyone have any tips on how to dissect a whole mount mouse submucosal plexus? I am currently doing it by taking off the muscosa, flipping the tissue, then removing the longitudinal and circular smooth muscle layers. Is there a better way to do this?

I used the protocol listed here:

If you use confocal microscopy with a marker such as Tuj1, you will be able to visualize the submucosal plexus very well.
