I am doing a presentation on a paper, attached, which cites that main causation of cancer to be infectious. From an evolutionary perspective it argues that germs are knocking down “barriers” to cancer via an evolutionary advantage of the infectious agents. Thoughts? Limitations?

Is it probable that infections are responsible for the majority incidences of cancer?

How might infectious agents be responsible for cancer development?
