If you have two real gases, the claim dW=0 is incorrect, especially in the differential form, and therefore you will get additional terms in all subsequent equations.

Edit: on second thought, it should even be wrong for an ideal gas because p1=n1RT/V1 and p2=n2RT/V2 except for one brief moment V1 and V2 are not the same. So the basic premise of the derivation is false.
