In our experimental work we tried to to use coating for corrosion control of steel. We faced a problem during thermal coating, the coating material (Al2O3) did not adhere on metal surface (substrate) and fly with flame. Is there any suggestion or solution to this problem?

One of the most important factors which decide the coatings properties and operational life is their adhesion – an adhesive capacity to the basic substrate. By various means it is possible to achieve a high adhesion assurance. Besides the type of a coating application technology, substrate surface properties it is also the coating type and composition.
