The atmospheric dust from the "Pakistan-Arabia Dust Cloud" -- if a cyclone gets near that cloud, it wipes those cyclones off the map. Click on a year, then click on Indian Ocean.

Choose a cyclone, and then choose Satellite, which is just to the right of "Storm synopsis"

Then scroll down to the middle, to the "Storm Relative 16 km Geostationary Water Vapor Imagery"

Then click on "Loop" and watch the interaction between the "Pakistan-Arabia Dust Cloud"

I gave the seven Dust Clouds that occur from Morocco to Pakistan names so we can start talking about them, and their massive impact on the planet's weather--able to trap heat in the air many times better than CO2 or methane. Attached is my suggested map.

Attached is today's potential cyclone forming, and you can see the impact of the Pakistan-Arabia Dust Cloud.

Because the interactions between the Dust Clouds and the cyclones in the India Ocean-Arabian Sea area is so dramatic, I have made several paintings of the Pakistan-Arabia Dust Cloud battles at https://www.ecoseeds.com/art3.html - my picture attached with the title of the ""Cyclone Giri in 2010 on October 26, losing its battle with the Pakistan-Arabia Dust Cloud and being pushed to the NE where it impacted an estimated one million people."

Going through the archives at https://rammb-data.cira.colostate.edu/tc_realtime/ year by year and watch the "Storm Relative 16 km Geostationary Water Vapor Imagery" loops, you see that even Category-5 cyclones like GONU do not have a chance when they try and battle the Pakistan-Arabia Dust Cloud--the Cloud always wins.

It either stops, or destroys or pushes the cyclone off track
