Do you know anything about protease, present in the stomach? they can digest proteins...and can make them non functional. That is the reason why many protein treatments like hormones are not given orally. Though new approaches are still under investigations and many groups came with innovative ideas too.

The standard answer will be "NO" as venom has to be introduced to your bloodstream or lymphatic system to show any effects. Additionally most venoms are made up of proteins that are broken down as they reach the stomach (most of the time). However, if you do have cuts in your throat (even little ones) there is chance of envenomation.
