I have done the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of some moth species. I have submitted the sequences in the Genbank. The Genbank has released our sequence as “unverified”. Because the protein-coding genes (PCG) are not having the stop codons and an incorrect annotation. I am using MITOS online software for sequence annotations. In this situation kindly suggest to me your opinion.

Generally, when the GenBank staff detect some issues in submitted sequence data, they inform the authors to resolve them. However, if the authors are not able to resolve them, Genbank marks them as "unverified". Such sequences are considered low priority and probably do not go to BLAST databases. This means they are of very limited significance.
SO my suggestion is to try to resolve the issues raised by the GenBank staff.

These issues arise due to improper alignment with reference sequences or due to sequence errors in poor reads, which need careful examination and editing of the sequence raw data. You may take help from someone experienced in sequence analysis. I hope if your experiments were done following standard protocols, these issues could easily be resolved.

First, you must deal with the problems in the sequence, and then the conclusions of the paper are based on the experimental data, if the sequence information is problematic, the probability of the article being accepted is relatively low.
