Homo sapiens is trained and perfected all his life. By the way, this is the law of Nature. The cessation of cultivation and training is tantamount to death for all living systems on Earth.
I perfectly agree with the above statement. Learning is a continual activity, everlasting! We should only retire from learning when we can no more breathe and are trapped in our caskets at death awaiting a resurrection. If we suspend or halt learning, we expose ourselves to forgetting the very things that made us great in thoughts, reducing us to our own destined slavery in the academic arena. That is why all of us, whether excellently intelligent or not must continually feed on knowledge via learning.
I think this is a bit harsh!! but I agree that the moment of stop learning, is the moment of scientific retirement! But he still has a kind of background!
The man who graduates today and stops learning tomorrow is uneducated the day after. Do you agree?
Yes agreed. The above question / phrase also prompt me to think on the following:
Learning is like breathing - we can't stop learning just like we can't stop breathing.
Life long learning is a way of life till we depart from this world.
We are living in a relative world, we can deceive ourselves that we are learning but others who are learning faster / never stop learning will render us to be obsolete.
However, the issue is more than just education. For education implies Knowledge. But Knowledge of what? For Knowledge is required only to provide for own's Needs. If the is the case, one must ask: What are my Needs? Fundamentally one's Needs gets confused with one's "Wants"
Bottom line: Measurement of Knowledge is wrapped around one's Belief's. The secularist Carl Sagan could not Believe in anything he did not Know.
The spiritualist that exist in all humans must be able to navigate through the coordinates of Body, Soul, and Spirit in order not to be captured by one's innate bas. Where bisa is the uncertainty associated with the origin in 3 dimension space.
So be careful of what you Think you Know -- for it may become Knowing what you Think and like Carl Sagan you will be stuck -- for the secularist that is acceptable -- not so for the spiritualist such as Einstein.
l surely agree dear Dr.Dr K N Sheth. Learning shuld not be planned to finish but to attach it with our life. So, learning should be a contineous process till end of life.
Thanks dear RG Colleagues. It can be stated that most of the members agree with the statement as learning is a continuous process. This is the meaning of the phrase. Let me put up on record that Dr Parisa mam first responded excellently. Great!
I am grateful to all members for sharing the views.
i agree with this statement as his graduation is just having a degree. he does not have enough knowledge as continuous advancement occurring in world. so learning process should be continuous,
I agree with the statement. We are living in a century where everything changes so rapidly. What is relevant today becomes irrelevant tomorrow, what is current today becomes obsolete tomorrow... so one stops learning, this person will definitely become uneducated...
