I think that When the teacher becomes old, he needs to rest from the trouble of learning and for many years of continuous effort. His retirement also gives the new teachers an opportunity to work and pursue the profession of education.

1. Unwillingness to change with the times
2. Need to give younger faculty a chance
3. Need for new ideas or change to stimulate all faculty
There are two things to retire according to me
1. After the certain age they need rest from what they work in entire life.
2. They have to retire because they have to chance to youngers
In my opinion if their health is good they should be permitted to impart knowledge that they possess. They can guide the research fellows. Young academicians will get opportunity to learn from senior fraternity .
