I am not sure if you can call it biotic and abiotic stress if the stress exposure occurs only after harvesting the fruits. But anyways, I would say it is more relevant to study the effects of higher temperatures (above 5ºC), to understand what is actually being affected during the post-harvest shelf life of passion fruits under a slightly increased temperature. If you could find targets, this could eventually open new doors to the decrease in energy demand for refrigeration of stored passion fruits...

I read some reports in which they used these conditions after harvest and called the abiotic stresses, including;

1- There have been few attempts to evaluate fruit ERF responses in relation to such abiotic stress. Stress treatments including low temperature (0 ◦C), high temperature (35 ◦C), high CO2 (5%), and high water loss (∼10% RH air) were applied to freshly harvested mature kiwifruit. doi:10.1016/j.postharvbio.2011.11.009

2- Postharvest stresses were applied to freshly harvested leaves as follows: (1) cold stress: leaves were stored in closed plastic boxes in the dark at 4°C; (2) wounding: leaves were cut into 4–6 pieces and stored in sealed plastic boxes in the dark at 20°C; (3) dehydration: leaves were stored in open plastic boxes in the dark at 20°C; (4) dark: leaves were sealed in plastic boxes in the dark at 20°C. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0178119

I have not seen such studies, yes it possible that you can do some post harvest studies on fruits after exposure to stress. Moreover, is it possible for your to obtains fruits from seedlings??? or your will perform study on mature trees that bear fruit? and even if you are applying stress to mature tress then how much will be the stress, because if the seedlings were provided 100mM of salt then definately the trees will require much more salt stress or any other stress

I suggest that you study the stress which the fruits exposure to it in the stores or markets, if you want to study the effect of stress on the mature fruits.

Abiotic stress imposed on plants by environment may be either physical or chemical, while as biotic stress exposed to the crop plants is a biological unit like diseases, insects, etc. ...
