Despite this, lipofectamine it is not the best vehicle to transport your miRNA inside the cell. Did you try already the XFect from TakaraBio? The option from Takara has a lower cytotoxicity, perhaps could be an alternative to you.
The lipofectamine is constituted of 3:1 mixture of DOSPA (2,3‐dioleoyloxy‐N‐ [2(sperminecarboxamido)ethyl]‐N,N‐dimethyl‐1‐propaniminium trifluoroacetate) and DOPE while XFect is formed by biodegradable nanoparticles.
