Graphene oxide should not show peak even at 11 degree. If it is appearing, then you haven't really/completely converted/exfoliated graphite oxide into graphene oxide. It also depends on how you are preparing sample for XRD.
Usually XRD of GO has one intense 001 peak at about 11 degrees. What other peaks do you observe?
GO has one intense peak at 11 deg. Please look at attached fig. for other peaks and their comparison with rGO and graphite.
@vladimir I am gettiing two peaks, one sharp around 10.5 degree another broad peak and in less intensity around 25 degree
Peak at 25 is due to graphite impurity but in your case its look like its due to glass substrate or your sample is not enough dried.
@chandra bhal singh I kept it for 24 hr should I increase the drying time? Can I say with this spectra that graphene oxide has been formed
Yes its graphene oxide. Next time , use grazing incidence XRD (GIXRD) which will not show broad peak due to glass substrate. Or do as suggested by Mr Rishi.
