Can any one will help that how to define and measure Synchrony of germination (Z index)?
One can expect synchrony I seed germination if all thr fruits matur synchronously on the plant so also the seeds. Such seeds would show synchronous seedling emergence.

Sychronicity is inversely proportional to the variance, standard deviation or standard error of germination timing :)
