if some one simulated switched reluctance motor using ansys maxwell software, how do you put the excitation to the coils?
Do you couple the FEM model with other package to control the currents?
How did you get the correct turn on and turn off angles?

I have already built the dynamic SRM ANSYS SModel.
I think, i need to do a control on the currents and try to figure out the on off angles by ANSYS Simplorer ?

In deed, I know what you mentioned.
But the problem of circuit based editor that you cannot control the currents. Thereofore, i guess i need to make ANSYS Simplorer coupling model.
