Really, the measurements of dq- axis inductances of the SynRM is more complex in case of including the magnetic saturation and iron loss.
In literature, there is several methods for measuring the dq-axis inductances of the SynRM.
If someone can suggest a simple laboratory method to measure the dq-axis inductances including the magnetic saturation and iron loss????????

With my little knowledge in COMSOL multiphysics software, it is quite possible for you to evaluate the inductance and mutual inductance between coils or devices. So, have you considered modelling your synchronous reluctance (SynRM) motors using COMSOL?

A suggestion is to use high-frequency signal injection. It is pretty effective to find the flux-current relations in the presence of saturation. The attached paper describes this for PMSMs, salient or not. We have done the same thing, with slight modifications, for SynRMs (which can be seen as very salient PMSMs without magnets). We don't handle iron losses, though (it doesn't seem to be essential, at least for control purposes).

with reference to SynRM, it is better to consider fluxes rather than inductances.
