I need to buy a fresh HPLC column & have never used hplc before. I have quotations of shimazdzu, merck, Macherey Nagel and Dikma, kindly help me with suggestions about the selection, my priority is low budget and reliable brand from the above mentioned if someone has experience with that.

You can start by looking at the literature on the types of analysis you are doing.

Check if the offered colums are ready to attach columns or are in the form of cartridges. If you buy the second type you need interfaces to connect the column to HPLC in Merck they are called manucarts (they are expensive) so if you don't have them this cost must be included in the comparison.

Since you have no experience I would pick the company that has the best customer service program. Better companies will develop your methods for you. That said, of your list I have not purchased columns from any of them.
Agreed with Thamer S. All these companies that you mentioned are fine. Chose the cheapest with good customer service (Michael's suggestion)
