I'm looking to see if there's any studies out there specific to different types of domestic abuse (from the parent, from the sibling, from an extended family member like an aunt or uncle, etc.) and how it affects adopted children. I have a feeling adopted children are particularly vulnerable to these types of abuse, given how they're thrust onto new family dynamics they have no control over (I'm adopted myself), but I'm curious if the scientific community has any studies about this? Sibling abuse studies in particular are very difficult to find.
