Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help with my study.
I have ran a bivariate correlational analysis between 5 IVs and 2 DPs. Both of my hypotheses were met. However when I ran a multiple regression, only one hypothesis was met as two of my IVS (in this case conscientiousness and neuroticism) were highly correlated with each other. I am trying to understand why this multicollinearity might be present/why neuroticism might be a confounder variable (the hypothesis regarding neuroticism is sig in the both the correlation and regression). Thanks.
