hi

i have been thinking of simulating the 'squeezing' metastatic cells have to go through as they slither through endothelial cells in intravasation. cells with high metastatic potential are able to bounce back in terms of shape after getting deformed by such squeezing.

My insititute only has a uniaxial stretching device. i would like your opinion on how feasible is my choice of methodology. what if i stretch the cells for say 24 hours and then relax the cells (remove tension) and see the ability of cell to go back to original shape/size? that would be a measure of its elasticity.
