Hi,

I saw that growing cells on ultra low adherence plates is similar to soft agar assays.

However, if i'm not wrong, making spheroids on these plates requires stem-like cells whereas soft agar is based on the capacity of cells to grow in an anchorage-independent manner.

Therefore, i was wondering if the cells making colonies are close/identical to those having the capacities to form spheroids. Also does anyone have measured stemness markers in soft agar colonies compared to normal culture?

Thanks a lot for these info.

Best
