Dear all,

When I conduct Steglich esterification with EDC/DMAP,  little target compound was obtained. I think the reason would be the strong nucleophilic nature of DMAP, which can destroy the -SAc groups in my substrate. See the attachment.

Now I consider Steglich esterification without DMAP. Will it be successful? Could you please provide me some references?

And any other routes that might be effective?
