Hi everyone! I am a new comer to the molecular biology field. I have 32 maize landraces on which SSR analysis was conducted. I also completed scoring in binary system based on band size. I used 18 primers.
Can anyone explain to me how to prepare SSR input data file in detail please. (If possible with an example)?
Ok I understood that I have to arrange my data sheet depending on softwares that I will use. I obtained popgen and mega. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you all in advance...

To prepare SSR input data file first, images analysis using programme analysis to convert images to numbers in excel sheet, Also using convert programs to convert data to many extension ( Arlequin, Popgen and to many programmes)
I need information about your genotyping data
You have revealed your alleles on a traditional Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis or on a sequencer??
First of all you have to score the bands (alleles) in binary or allele size format for analysis. Then if you want to perform the diversity analysis among landraces then you can go for PowerMarker or DARwin software. The data format is provided in the Manuals of these software. If you need further help regarding this then let me know. I can send you some data format files. But first you try once.
