Hi!! You must check your Bio 1:

All your climatic scenarios should have the same bioclimatic variables

all the variables should be named identical in all the scenarios

I recommend you to organize the variables of each scenario on different folders (Current; 2050RCPXGCMX; ....), and name the variables with the same name on each folder.

Thanks for the response.

I have checked both the Environmental layers and the RCP projection layers and they all share the same variable.

It specifies that the RCP Bio.1 variable is missing despite working for the first replicates (marked 0)

I think it's a problem with naming or boundaries of variables

I agree with the previous answers, although I would suggest even 20 replicates, if your runtime allows for it (also depeing a little whether you chose CrossValidate or one of the others).

When doing projections with MaxEnt, you shoould have a folder containing the datasets for the original model (the "training" model), and a folder containing datasets for the projection model you want to do. Names of the variables must be identical. Coordinate system and cell sizes, as well as values of the variables (for categorial variables the classes) should be the same as well I guess (never tried it otherwise). Spatial extend of the variables must not be identical between original model and projection, but of course within each model.

From your error, I would assume that the variable called bio1 in your training folder is not "compatible" to the variable bio1 in your projection folder. It would be easier to help if you post the exact error message, and maybe the relevant parts in the log file.

It doesnot make sense with the number of replicates that you choose for the error. Most possibly the error might be due to the unidentical layers properties for current and future RCP scenarios. Properties might be raster layers cell size, extent, coordinate system. Make sure that you keep identical properties raster layers in current and RCP scenarios folders.

There are numerous tutorial available online. You can also refer to my published literature from RG.

The error occurs due to the difference in cell size. If your layers are in ASCI format, open it with notepad and check the followings -

ncols

nrows

xllcorner

yllcorner

cellsize

In all layers, all these parameters should be the same, if different you can clip again.

For the assessment of mountain biological systems, environmental models assume a significant job in recognizing and monitoring critical habitat under the potential future climatic conditions. Our paper, utilizing the Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs-2050), the future global warming climatic scenarios, explores the trend of range shifts of Himalayan pheasants in the Eastern Himalayas based on an ensemble technique. The prediction model demonstrated that the core zone habitat of the Himalayan pheasants would have shifted towards higher altitude and latitude gradients with the greenhouse gaseous intensification. Under the extreme future climatic scenario, the species may reach towards Sky Island of the Himalayan regions. Therefore, a legitimate policy is essential to implement on time for the mitigation of the greenhouse gaseous emission. The outcome of this article illuminated that the present protected areas (PAs) of the Eastern Himalayas appeared to be inadequate regarding conser vation measures of Himalayan Pheasants due to the current range may go rapidly beyond the protected zones. The shifting of the range of the Himalayan pheasants under future climatic scenarios will offer an indication for conservation directives to formulate appropriate strategies for habitat management of the threatened animals of the Himalayan ecosystem before the door of annihilation.
