I have used KenPave and WESLEA to calculate displacement in different layers in a pavement. Both of these packages are built for pavement design only. I was wondering if there is another software package available for such a purpose. The basic purpose is to calculate the contribution of total displacement in each layer.
You can use mePADS (http://asphalt.csir.co.za/samdm) in a free edition or even the well known ELSYM5 for DOS systems.
Thank-you, I could not found BISAR on internet but mePADS is a good software, do you have any idea which theory does it uses to calculate displacements. I understands it uses transfer functions for distress, but I am only interested on the theory used to predict these displacements. I think WESLEA used Boussinesq's Theory but dont know for sure what mePADS used.

We use Circly 5.0, Bisar and Kenlayer. I think that Kenlayer may be found free.
I always use ELSYM5 for DOS systems. It woks just fine and is very reliable. But if you have more than 5 layers you should use another one, like BISAR (Shell). Hope I helped you
I think Kenlayer is the easiest. It comes when you purchase the text book: Pavement Analysis and Design, by Huang, Y. The book is very useful text book and reference too.
