You can use any thickness you want but the only thing is you have to use multilayer solver not transient solver in CST

use patch and GND with zero thickness. also enhance the mesh. substrate thickness depends on ur application.

Hello Smrity Dwivedi i used multilayer solver for CMA but i dont know the problem when the simulation reached 80% it used to abort abnormally saying the integral solver abort abnormally please do you have an idea what i can do to prevent that?
