Is there any software that I can simulate the impact test (with predefined force) on a cantilever and measure the free vibration response or FRF signal?
I need acceleration /or displacement signal to compare with the experimental results, not just to see the visualisation of mode shapes.
Between Abacus and Nastarn, does any of these two softwares has such capabilities?
My goal is to do the same experiment on materials with nonlinear behaviour.

Hi Amin Jami , in Abaqus, for trend-wise correlation you can use the *dynamic to perform such analysis. Make sure to use proper time steps and total time based on your frequency of interest. You'd end up tuning numerical damping as well.
