I intend to do my PhD in relation to this word Simulation. I am in need of some good reviews / links related to this area that speaks about how Simulation was a part of our Education system way back during the Gurukul system or even before that. I need to understand whether Simul;ation has come back with a different flavour or its the same in a new packing. ... Kindly suggest some reviews.

Com a intensão de contribuir com a sua pergunta, normalmente relaciono a simulação com a teoria do jogo, em especial com o conceito de "espaço mágico" de Huizinga em seu livro "Homo ludens". Logo, o compromisso do recomeço em regras definidas para uma determinada conquista que visa um troféu. Aqui vem uns dos desafios para o circulo mágico positivo e estimulante, seria qual o troféu que traz interesse, e logo isso tem a ver com as ideologias correntes no círculo social do aluno, e sua cultura. Penso que toda simulação precisa dialogar a parte técnica do simulador com os valores e conceitos já estabelecidos neste círculo sociocultural.
