It has been found that most celebrities in management and social sciences in general have focused on qualitative analysis in social science. But it is the quantitative approach which is more in fashion these days. While reading many pieces of researche using quantitative methods, I find the level of rigour in this latter category is somewhat lower; of course exceptions are always there. Any research, whether done through the former or the latter methodology should reflect that it has been rigorously knit well in the existing authoritative literature.
