I conducted an antiemetic evaluation test on 4 local plants in chicks using the Copper Sulfate-induced chick emesis test.
My question is, should the "% of inhibition of emesis" have standard error of mean? For example, the standard drug Chlorpromazine HCL's % of inhibition is 76.08 ± 2.67% compared to control. Is it right for a percentage value to have Standard error of mean?

As almost always we are not allowed to study the entire population. So, yes ! You should have an estimate of a proportion and for this you have a uncertainty about that estimate. In this scenario, it is called standard error for a proportion (instead of a mean) and using it you can construct a confidence interval for a proportion.
For instance, standard drug Chlorpromazine HCL's % of inhibition is 30% CI95% [25%-35%]. That uncertainty estimate confidence interval is more important even that your estimate (30%) because it shows the precision about the proportion of the sample.
