Dear eveybody I have a question. I´ll try to explain you my experimental design as clear as I can:

- I have 2 treatment sites (ditches) in the same area (but not connected)

- I collected oxygen, temperature, pH etc.. every day for 6 months using an immersion fix probe from each site (so one value per environmental variable per day per site)

- The first 3 months the 2 sites were exposed to NO STRESS condition; the second 3 months 1 site was exposed to a costant STRESS (so in term of Stress present=1; no stress=0).

- I want to compare the two sites to show that before the STRESS the two sites were identical from a physico-chemical point of view.

My question is which kind of statistic can I use to compare this? Linear model?

e.g. (with Oxygen) =Lm(Ox~Site*STRESS+day)
