I uploaded two well logs to the "Well section window" of Petrel and they were attached together without any space. Then, I modified the horizontal scale from "relative" to "constant (50)". They are now spaced but the program says that the distance between them is 0 m (see picture) when it is not true in reality. I need the program to recognise the distance between the wells so when I create a 3D model the two wells are spaced instead of being attached together. Thanks for your help!
You need to update the well header information with the correct X and Y values.
Step 1: Right-click on the individual well in the input tab and choose setting from the drop down menu.
Step 2: Update the well header with the correct X and Y values.
You can also import header information for all wells by importing header file in global well logs.
