You can use either plastic or glass vials. In our laboratory, we usually used 100 mL plastic box to preserve rat organs.

that does not matter, either one is good. Labs started with glass containers since there was no plastic at that time hundreds of years ago. Now we have multiple choice and price is cheaper also on different material. Only you must use glass just in case if chemical is going to dissolve plastic like acetone or similar reagents. Good luck
