In case of piles in liquefied soil, I have a non-liquefied crust on the top of liquefied soil layer, which is again underlain by non-liquefied soil layer. Using provisions of JRA, do I have to take the moment due to inertial load at the interface of liquefied and lower non-liquefied soil layer to calculate the exerted bending moment due to the lateral spreading although the interface lies at a depth of 13m from the ground surface?
N.B : No SPT 'N' values are present hence, unable to do displacement based analysis.
