Dear Researchers;
I have some metallic waste,
it is some kind of powdered Copper, we have noticed Iron "attached" to copper particles.
I would like to know if there was a chemical way to separate this "blend" (knowing that it is not possible to separate them by magnetic technics, iron seem to be embedded into the copper powder).
I thought about trying to solubilize the blend and try to precipitate preferentially one of the element. But I was wondering if there was a direct way to solubilize, preferentially the iron without touching the copper.
Thank you for the help
