You might consider using R with the 'lavaan' package or Mplus for SEM on a Mac.

Hsin-Yuan Chen (or anyone else), do you have experience with either to recommend one over the other?

If you're comfortable with coding and want a free option, go with 'lavaan' in R. If you prefer a more user-friendly but paid solution, opt for Mplus.
