Hi all, does anyone have a reliable protocol for selecting primary Fibroid and Myometrial cells? I process patient Fibroid tumor tissue and Myometrial tissue into single cell suspension, then grow in culture. However, after a few passages fibroblast cells seem to take over. I am looking for a way to select for only the Fibroid and Myometrial cells, separate them out, and then grow in cultures. I was looking into Dynabeads or immunohistochemical analysis... possibly a CD31 or smooth muscle actin... Any input would be greatly appreciated.
