In regard to personnel, funding, equipment, and supplies, the team comprising first aid responders, social workers, front desk staff, IT specialists, and nurses indicate that staffing levels at the ERBTC are adequate. However, most medical laboratory technicians feel understaffed and unable to effectively manage the workload at the ERBTC.
According to Shrivastava, M., Shah, N., Navaid, S. (2022). Each phase of the process, from donor screening to blood unit transfusion, needed a quality management system (QMS), and any reduction in quality would harm the end product. Several studies have been performed to analyze medical personnel's and medical staff's knowledge and practice of blood transfusion, with the conclusion that a lack of training in transfusion techniques is harmful to patient safety. Competent performance in transfusion medicine becomes a vital requirement to avoid potential problems and transfusion responses, as a lack of understanding in this sector can diminish transfusion safety and cause considerable harm to the patient. Trainings are designed to first increase people' knowledge and then to measure their progress in the service on which the trainings are focused. The purpose of this study was to measure the changes in participants' understanding of QMS before and after completing a QMS training.
