The test procedure followed standard NF EN 13286-2 (February 2005) with: 5 layers of materials, the 4535 g lady, a drop height of 457 mm, a number of strokes per layer of 255 obtained by equalizing the compaction energies of the normal mould (h = 117 mm and d = 152 mm) and the large C-Mould (h = 200 mm and d = 250 mm). The following procedure to perform the Proctor tests with the C-Mould: 5x355 moves i.e. (6x55 moves) + (1x25 moves) per layer;
· Apply 355 strokes per coat, repeating the following cycle 8 times:
- 6 shots adjacent to each other and to the wall of the mould and the 7th shot in the centre;
- At the end of the 8th cycle the last shot is not applied to the centre;
- And four (4) strokes in each of the four quadrants by rotating the mould 90° between two successive strokes. The 25th shot is struck in the centre of the mould.
