To my knowledge, the creep model predicts the rutting of asphalt pavements with good accuracy.
Using ABAQUS finite element software you can simulate the temperature field of asphalt pavement under continuous variable temperature conditions [heat tranfert: steady and transient analysis are appropriate], and then calculate the rutting of asphalt pavement structure [apply load, step visco, and creep parameter].
In abaqus we have the Bailly-Norton Power law model that can be used, however there are more advanced models that predict with more accuracy, these are integrated in the software from UMAT.
