Dear ResearchGate Team,

I recently received access to research, but unlike previous times, I couldn’t reach out to the author to thank them (see attached screenshot). I understand from the error message that John would need to follow me first. However, I feel it would be polite to thank him regardless, so I’m a bit puzzled by this new restriction. Am I perhaps missing something?
