First 3 months of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is known as a very important period in outbreak of different complication of this transplantation. But data about endocrinologic and bone complications is very sparse and so some in-fruitful, if you help me in better results of my search, I will be very happy.
i don't hace experience in thallasemia but in other transplants we don't do endocrine evaluations until 6 months after transplant.
the only exception is vitamin d and parathormone which usually are abnormal before The transplant. In oír series

I am here to share my search findings about this question with you.really I didn't find any document that report significant changes of endocrine and bone parameters and disorders in 3 months after HSCT. Of course this is similar to what we found in research projects and reported as abstracts in international congresses (you can find it on my publication part at ResearchGate). However I am preparing the related articles and I hope I can publish our detailed discussion in related journals. Thank you very much for following my questions and sharing your opinion with me. At the end I am agree with Dr Ramirez that checking vit D and PTH, Ca, P, alkaline phosphatase is important and personally recommend it even sooner at 3 months, specially if blood sampling for any reason if possible.
