Our microscope likes to play tricks on us, but for the last few days, we have noticed a 'rippling' effect in live images. We use a Leica microscope, with a Hamamatsu C5810-01 color chilled 3CCD high sensitivity camera, and acquire images in Leica QWin.

From the way the image data (i.e. the superimposed shutter speed data etc) displays, it looks like it's a problem with the hamamatsu box or the QWin software, rather than the microscope or camera.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this??
