Has anybody tested these new "higher signal-to-noise secondary antibodies? I am especially interested Alexa Fluor Plus 555, compared to the regular Alexa 568 which already has a higher quantum yield and lifetime than the regular Alexa 555 (link attached)

Definitely go for it (Alexa Plus 555). The signal is much better in comparison with standard Alexa 555 (which works very well too). I don´t know why, but Alexa 555 seems to me be one of the best secondaries in spite of quite low quantum yield. For instance it is much better choice than Alexa Plus 647 which has higher QY and Extinction coefficient.
Soledad Miranda-Rottmann Did you end up comparing AF 555 Plus versus AF 568? If so, I would be interested to know the difference in brightness and signal-to-noise efficiency. Thanks in advance for your reply.
