Dear all,

I am Benny Danilo Belviso, a researcher of the Institute of Crystallography of CNR with experience in structural biology and X-ray based methods for structural studies, such as X-ray diffraction and SAXS.

I would to build up a group of researchers interested in the study of PCSK9, a protein involved in cholesterol balancing, and in the complexes between the same protein and its physiological partners.

Particularly, I am searching for young researchers having:

1. experience in protein expression (for structural biology studies, thus, mg-scale quantity and high purity);

2. experience in the characterization of protein-protein interactions in solution;

3. an independent position (obtained within 5 years);

4. first doctoral degree (PhD, MD or equivalent) obtained not longer than 10 years;

5. should be a project leader directing a research group (however small);

6. no PostDoc.

The points from 3 to 6 are required by the research grant program to which the formed group will submit an application to get project grant.

Please, in the case you are interested in research topic and meet the above requirements you can contact me by e-mail ([email protected]). Grant program deadline is on 30th March, so research group have to be formed within 23th March.

Thanks in advance,

Danilo
