Dear all,
I am conducting a MANCOVA with a time factor (4 points of measurement), a group factor (2 groups), 4 covariates and 2 DVs.
SPSS gives me first a table for "Multivariate Tests", where in the lower half I can see the time*group-interaction I am interested in.
Next there is a section for within subject effects, one table for multivariate, one for univariate.
I now want to report first the multivariate results first, then the univariate analysis (one for each of the two DVs). But which multivariate table should I look at? The values for Wilk's Lambda and F are different, also the error df's are substantially different: 55 vs. 358
What is the difference between both tables?
(In a second analysis I did with only two points of measurement but same design, the two tables displayed the same values for Lamda, F, ...)
Thank you in advance for your help!
Greetings,
Daniel Spitzenstätter
